Peasant Food?
The hour consisted of juicy ground pork, pan fried portabella, thinned oatmeal, carmelized onion, chunky fried garlic cloves and olive oil, baked to perfection, topped with large pieces of stark white goat cheese and lightly squeezed spicy mustard served on fresh rosemary garlic foccacia bread, and savored in his mouth for twenty chews. Although twenty chews is said to be the proper amount of chewing per bite, before swallowing, he was eager to shovel the proceeding bites in way before hitting the big "2 - 0" threshold. The mountain of baked yet crunchy sweet potato fries needed no further seasoning nor squirts of ketchup, for the entire dish would ultimately be ruined. The old sign board to the left that read "Plumbing" vertically was the perfect fit for such a well rounded hour in time for him. "They call this peasant food?", he said. "Bring it on", he mumbled, as he continued watching the raging river flowing downstream and munching on his tasty fries.
See you again soon. Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful evening, hopefully enjoying a tasty treat of your own!
Creatively Yours,
Jennifer Alfia
